UX Content Case Study: Designing a Millennial-Centric Mobile Chatbot
Overview:
As the lead on this four-month project, I directed the creation of an interactive mobile chatbot aimed at millennials. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, I ensured all content aligned with UX principles, overseeing everything except legal disclosures.
Goal:
Our objective was to deliver an engaging chatbot experience tailored to millennials, enhancing user satisfaction. Despite technical constraints that shifted us from two-way to one-way interactions, we aimed for a timely launch for the new tax season.
Outcome:
We successfully launched the chatbot for tax season, but feedback was mixed. Users appreciated its novelty but found it cumbersome due to its onboarding focus. Still, the project demonstrated the effective application of UX principles, setting the stage for future enhancements.
In summary, my leadership as the content lead was crucial in shaping the chatbot's functionality and tone, showcasing the impact of UX-driven content design on creating intuitive digital experiences.
